XRP Price Prediction: XRP Was The Only ETF Taking Money
A sharp rally, then a cooldown into a tighter range, that's the backdrop for this XRP price prediction.
$XRP has been around since 2012, built by Ripple for fast, low-cost cross-border payments, and it's held its place as one of the market's most established names, currently sitting at #5 by market cap.
The XRP price today is $1.42 right now, up 1.6% on the day. It's moved between $1.38 and $1.45 over the past 24 hours, and the market cap has climbed to $89.238B.

Look at the full 24 hours, and shorts actually come out ahead, around 62% of the total, which tracks with sellers getting run over during the initial breakout.
But narrow the window down to the last hour or four, and it flips; it takes the bigger hit instead, more of a sign that some profit-taking or a quick shakeout has been playing out while price sits just under resistance.
Exchange Volume
Nothing close to challenging Binance on $XRP futures right now; it's sitting at $1.29B for the day.
Bybit and OKX trail behind at $521.29M and $491.50M, with MEXC not far off at $474.14M.

Bitget adds another $447.91M, while WhiteBIT and Bitunix bring in $175.68M and $133.44M. Gate, BingX, and Kraken round out the rest with smaller amounts.
XRP News: ETF Flows Turn In Ripple Favor
$XRP Was The Only Crypto ETF Taking In Money
CoinDesk flagged something notable this week: $XRP ETFs pulled in nearly $2 million on Tuesday, while every other major fund, Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, and Hyperliquid, bled money instead.

Bitcoin funds alone lost $47M, Ether funds gave up $24M, Hyperliquid dropped $13M, and Solana saw a smaller $0.7M outflow.
Ripple was the lone name in the group actually pulling in fresh capital that day.
Franklin ETF Clients Add to Ripple Holdings
Separately, an account tracking large flows noted that Franklin ETF clients picked up $1.55 million worth of Ripple.

Stack that next to the broader inflow numbers, and it starts to look like institutional demand is holding steady even while sentiment cooled off for most other crypto ETFs this week.
XRP Price Prediction: Technical Outlook
Pull up the daily $XRP/USDT chart on Binance, and here's what's been happening: the price broke above a falling trendline in late August.
Then rallied hard, leaving behind a fair value gap along the way, a stretch of price the market simply blew through without much trading, sitting roughly between $1.20 and $1.30.

Since that move, $Ripplehas settled into a bullish flag, holding comfortably above that unfilled gap. RSI reads 60.86, sitting close to its moving average of 62.44, momentum that's still firm but has clearly cooled off from the breakout itself.
Could $Ripple Break Toward Higher Resistance?
Break above the flag's upper boundary on a strong daily close with volume behind it, and $1.5506 becomes the first stop.
Clear that too, and $1.7001 opens up, with $1.9159 next in line if momentum keeps carrying through the rest of the month.
What Happens If Ripple Breaks the Flag's Lower Boundary?
Flip it around. A break below the flag's lower boundary, confirmed by volume, points first to $1.1839.
Lose that too, and Ripple could slide back down toward the still-unfilled fair value gap, with $0.9862 as the next level if the drop keeps going, though a dip into that gap zone might also be where price finds its footing again.

Glossary
A bullish flag shows up when price settles into a tight, slightly downward channel right after a sharp rally, and breaking out above that channel is usually read as the rally picking back up where it left off.
A fair value gap, FVG for short, is what's left behind when the market moves so fast through a price zone that barely any trading happens there, and price has a habit of drifting back to fill that gap before continuing on its original path.
RSI is about speed more than direction, tracking how fast and how far price has been moving to help gauge whether momentum still has room to run.
Liquidation kicks in when an exchange force-closes a leveraged position once a trader's margin has run dry, and it tends to cluster around sharp moves that catch one side of the market flat-footed.
Support and resistance, at the core of it, are just the zones where buyers or sellers have shown up often enough before to stall a move or turn it around.
XRP vs Bitcoin
$XRP's managed to carve out some independent strength this week, ETF inflows standing out while Bitcoin and most other major crypto funds bled outflows.
Even so, Ripple day-to-day price action still tends to lean on the broader market, so a stronger or weaker Bitcoin trend from here would probably still shape how convincingly this bullish flag actually resolves.
Methodology
This XRP price prediction draws on daily candlestick data from Binance, EMA and RSI readings, and the trendline breakout, fair value gap, and bullish flag structure that's shaped the chart since late August 2026.
The levels above are tied to specific breakout or breakdown conditions, not guarantees, and this week's ETF flow numbers add useful color without changing the technical picture on their own.
Expert Opinion
Traders following Ripple setup generally treat a bullish flag forming after a strong rally as a continuation pattern, so long as the flag's lower boundary and the trendline underneath it both hold.
The standout ETF inflow data this week gets read as a supportive sign too; institutional demand doesn't look like it's fading even as broader crypto ETF flows turned negative, though most agree the flag still needs an actual confirmed breakout before the bullish case counts as validated.
