T-REX Network & Zama Launch Confidential RWA Infrastructure

Paris, France, March 26th, 2026, Chainwire

  • Zama becomes the default confidentiality layer for the T-REX Ledger
  • Privacy, compliance, and interoperability built into public blockchain infrastructure
  • FHE-powered confidential settlement enabling secure institutional adoption at scale

T-REX Network is a multi-chain system for managing real-world assets. It is supported by Apex Group, which handles $3.5 trillion in assets. T-REX Network has teamed up with Zama, a company that leads in Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). Together, they are adding built-in privacy to the T-REX Ledger. This partnership is a big step in bringing regulated financial markets onto blockchains. It mixes Zama's encryption skills with the ERC-3643 standard. That standard currently secures $32 billion in tokenized assets. Apex Group has also agreed to use the T-REX Ledger as its main system. Their goal is to reach $100 billion in tokenized assets by June 2027.

The Missing Layer for Institutional Blockchain Adoption

Public blockchains are open for anyone to see. Every trade, balance, and holding is always out in the open. For regulated financial markets, this is a major problem. For years, financial institutions built private chains instead. They wanted control and privacy that public blockchains could not give. But by doing this, they created new closed-off systems. They lost the ability to work across different chains. And they gained very little of the speed that blockchain promised.

Institutions cannot risk sharing private investor data, holdings, or trading plans on a public ledger. But without public blockchain systems, they miss out on the speed and easy connection that tokenized assets promise. Now, with privacy built directly into the token itself, they can use public ledgers without giving up safety or following the rules. This is a key step for institutions to grow the world of tokenized assets.

Confidentiality, Compliance and Interoperability, Built Into the Same Infrastructure

The T-REX Ledger is a neutral Layer 2 blockchain. It helps digital securities follow rules and work across different chains. It acts as the single source of truth across many blockchains. Built for tokens made with the ERC-3643 standard, it brings identity and compliance together in one system. That system is built to connect with major public blockchains.

Through this partnership, Zama will give the T-REX Ledger a built-in privacy layer using FHE. FHE is a type of encryption that lets smart contracts work without ever needing to decode the data. This allows financial institutions to create, manage, and trade digital assets on the upcoming T-REX public blockchains. They can do this while keeping private data safe, just like they would in traditional finance.

This partnership started inside a working group of the ERC3643 association. It solves one of the biggest problems for institutions using blockchain. It gives them the speed of public systems while keeping the privacy that regulated markets need. By adding Zama's FHE system to the T-REX Ledger, the result is a safe, rule-following, and private base for institutional finance to work onchain.

Building the Standard for Confidential Onchain Finance

"The T-REX Ledger was built to be the trusted multi-chain system for institutional real-world assets, but trust also means privacy," said Joachim Lebrun, Co-Founder of T-REX Network and Lead Author of the ERC-3643 standard. "Adding Zama's FHE Protocol directly into the T-REX Ledger means institutions can finally work fully onchain without sharing their private data with the world. That is the missing piece for unlocking real institutional growth."

"Our goal is to make Zama the privacy layer for public blockchains," said Dr. Rand Hindi, Co-Founder and CEO of Zama. "We want institutions and investors to work onchain with the same privacy they expect offchain. This work with T-REX Network shows that privacy is not just an extra feature for institutions using blockchain. It is a basic part of the system. Together, we are helping digital asset markets grow safely, quickly, and with trust."

Institutional Confidentiality as Shared Infrastructure

By building FHE privacy directly into the T-REX Ledger, T-REX Network and Zama are making privacy a core part of institutional tokenization. It is no longer just a single feature. This shared base allows regulated institutions to take part in public blockchain systems without risking safety or market trust.

This partnership is a key move toward large-scale institutional use of tokenized real-world assets. In this new system, following rules, working across chains, and keeping privacy are built in from the very start.

About T-REX Network

T-REX Network is the largest ecosystem for rule-following tokenization of real-world assets. It is built on the ERC-3643 standard, with more than $32 billion in assets tokenized. Born from years of working together across the industry, T-REX solves the main challenge of growing tokenization across blockchains without breaking the rules. Through T-REX Ledger, a single system for compliance across chains, and the T-REX AppStore, which connects ERC-3643 assets to apps that work with them, T-REX Network lets regulated assets move to where liquidity exists. It does this with speed, trust, and control. Its goal is to turn tokenization from small tests into a connected, rule-following open finance system that finally works on a global scale.

About Zama

Zama is a cryptography company building top-level Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) solutions for blockchain. Its system brings privacy to public blockchains. This allows digital assets to be created, managed, and traded privately onchain. Founded by FHE pioneer Dr. Pascal Paillier and entrepreneur Dr. Rand Hindi, Zama brings together one of the world's largest teams of FHE researchers and engineers. It also supports a global community of developers building private applications.
