Bolts Quantum Resilience Pilot Launches on Canton Network

Glencoe, Illinois, USA, December 10th, 2025, Chainwire

Today, BOLTS Technologies (BOLTS), a cybersecurity company, announced a new pilot program. This program is called the Bolts Quantum Resilience Pilot. BOLTS is working to build stronger systems for the internet. These systems are called crypto-agile and cipher-neutral. The pilot will test how quantum-resilient security can help the Canton Network. The Canton Network is a public blockchain. It is made for big businesses and finance.

This pilot will look at how QFlex, BOLTS’ security product, can protect the Canton Network. QFlex is designed to stop big risks from future quantum computers. A quantum computer is a very powerful type of computer. It could break today’s internet security. One of the biggest risks is called Q-Day. Q-Day will happen when a quantum computer can break the way we protect data today.
The European Union (EU) made new rules called PQS 2030. These rules talk about post-quantum cryptography (PQS). PQS is about making sure systems stay safe even after quantum computers are here. The Canton Network is getting ready for these changes. The network is used by many large financial companies. Every month, the network processes over $4 trillion in financial deals. That’s a lot of money, so it needs strong security.

Bernhard Elsner is the Chief Product Officer of Digital Asset. He said, “We are excited to test QFlex. QFlex could allow sub-networks to use many different cryptographic systems. Users would have control. No changes to the code are needed. This can make the Canton Network stronger. It also helps the network meet future rules.”

Yoon Auh is the CEO of BOLTS. She says, “We are proud to work with the Canton Network. This pilot is a big step for us. Our mission is to create security systems that last. Our technology helps businesses that use distributed ledger platforms. QFlex helps show that fears about Q-Day can be handled today. It also shows a clear way to get ready for the future. The industry must act now, with trillions of dollars in assets at risk. The Canton Network supports more than $6 trillion in real-world assets. This pilot will change the industry.”

QFlex is built on a system called the Structured Data Folding with Transmutations (SDFT) protocol. This protocol helps make systems more flexible and secure. It works on each transaction. With QFlex, asset owners can control their security. They can act quickly when new threats come up. This is different from old systems, which can’t change easily.

About BOLTS Technologies

BOLTS Technologies makes secure, quantum-resilient solutions for Web3 systems. Their main product is QFlex. QFlex helps protect blockchain transactions. It is controlled by the owner or wallet. QFlex helps blockchain systems adjust to future changes in security without causing problems. QFlex was created from technology first developed by NUTS Technologies, a sister company. QFlex has received grants from The National Institute of Standards and Technology, the United States Air Force, and the United States Navy. These grants support cryptographic research. SDFT and NUTS technologies have over 30 international patents. More: https://boltstechnologies.xyz/
