Taisu Ventures and Keio FinTEK Center Launch Keio ChainHack 2026

Location: Singapore, Date: January 5th, 2026, Channel: Chainwire

Taisu Ventures, a global Web3 venture capital firm, has announced Keio ChainHack 2026. This is a one-day pitch and hackathon event. It is co-hosted with the Keio FinTEK Center. The event is part of Taisu Ventures’ plan to support early-stage builders working in blockchain, regulation, and real-world use cases.

Keio ChainHack 2026 will bring together students, founders, academics, and investors. They will explore real uses of blockchain and on-chain systems. People can find details about joining the event at https://luma.com/e0pbv2og.

Along with this announcement, Taisu Ventures shared examples of its portfolio companies. These companies show a growing trend of building real-world industries using blockchain. They focus on solving problems that older systems could not fix.

Helix: Building Institutional RWA and Stablecoin Infrastructure

Helix was created to solve a major problem for financial institutions using blockchain. Many companies want to use tokenized assets and on-chain money systems. But the needed systems for compliance, storage, reporting, and distribution are often broken and unclear.

Helix works with banks, fintech companies, and regulated partners. It brings everything together into one system. This includes structuring, issuing, tokenizing, and distributing real-world assets.

The platform has already been tested in real projects. These include a Malaysia tokenization report with Kenanga and Saison Capital, Shariah-compliant financing with SILQFi, and a private credit project in Latin America with AmFi.

“Taisu doesn’t just invest; they work closely with us and connect us with important partners,” the Helix team said. “Their support has helped us grow and change direction successfully.”

Lofty: Expanding Access to Real Estate Ownership

Lofty was built on the idea that many people cannot invest in real estate because of access problems. At first, it created an AI tool for analysis. Later, it changed its focus to a blockchain-based real estate platform. This platform allows people to own small parts of properties and trade them easily.

Lofty has combined many parts of the real estate process. This includes finding properties, checking them, completing deals, and managing them. The company is now working on allowing loans backed by fractional property ownership. Its goal is to bring mortgage-like systems onto blockchain platforms.

“Taisu actively supports us and connects us with the right people,” said Lofty CEO Jerry Chu. “This kind of help is rare and very valuable.”

Pruv: Unlocking a Licensed RWA Pathway in Indonesia

Pruv was created after its founder gained experience building digital asset systems in Southeast Asia. Over time, the team saw that there were not enough regulated, income-generating assets in the market. This caused instability.

Indonesia provided a strong opportunity because it created special rules for digital assets. After more than two years of working with regulators, Pruv received approval. It became Indonesia’s first licensed platform for permissionless real-world asset issuance.

Pruv now uses a mix of blockchain systems. It also works with regulated asset managers to support cross-chain assets.

“Taisu has been a very active and helpful partner,” said Chung Ying Lai. “They support us in many ways beyond just funding.”

Strengthening the Builder Ecosystem

Taisu Ventures said Keio ChainHack 2026 is part of a bigger plan. The company wants to support founders not only with money but also with ideas, testing, and teamwork. It also works with academic groups like the Keio FinTEK Center to support research and innovation.
