Doppler Finance News: XDP Staking Goes Live With 20x Boost

Doppler Finance has switched on XDP staking and DP Season 3. Holders can now stake XDP on Base and earn Doppler Points with a 20x boost. The team shared the update on October 16, 2026. Your last draft covered the XRP Vault. This Doppler Finance News update is about the token itself.

What Is Live in Doppler Finance News Today?

Two things went live together:

  • XDP staking on Base

  • DP Season 3, the new Doppler Points season

The post describes a simple flow: stake, earn rewards, and unstake when you choose to leave. The aim is to reward people who hold for longer.

How Many Doppler Points Does XDP Staking Earn?

Doppler gave clear rates.

Detail

Rate

XDP staking

0.2 DP per $1 staked, every hour

Vault deposits

0.01 DP per $1 deposited

Boost for stakers

20x

Network

Base

Here is a quick example. Say someone stakes $1,000 of XDP. At 0.2 DP per $1, that is 200 DP every hour. The same $1,000 in a vault would earn 10 DP, if both rates run hourly. This is our own math, not a Doppler figure.

Is Staking Really 20 Times Better Than Vault Deposits?

On points, yes. Divide 0.2 by 0.01 and you get 20. That is where the boost comes from. Points are not cash, though. Doppler has not said what DP can be used for in Season 3. Also, the rates are per dollar, not per token. If the price drops, the dollar value of the stake drops, and the points drop with it.

Why Does Doppler Want Holders to Stake XDP?

It has a total supply of 10 billion tokens. Tokens sitting in crypto wallets can be sold at any time. Staked tokens are held in the program instead.

Doppler says the stake-earn-unstake setup is meant to encourage long-term holding. The timing fits. It went live on September 28, 2026, with a Genesis Airdrop of 100 million, which is 1% of supply. Claims stay open until November 28, 2026, at 12:00 UTC.

Airdrop receivers now have a choice: hold, sell, or stake. Staking gives them a reason to keep the tokens. That is our reading of the move, not a Doppler statement.

What Else Is Doppler Building Around XDP?

Doppler builds infrastructure for tokenized capital markets. Its focus is yield vaults and lending for assets like XRP.

Earlier reports said the XRP Vault passed 90 million in total value locked. That number counts deposits, not proof of demand, so treat it with care.

It is meant to do more than earn points. Doppler lists three roles for it:

  • Privileges inside the Doppler ecosystem

  • Governance

  • Future safety modules

A safety module usually works as a backup pool that can cover losses. Doppler has not shared a launch date for its own.

It has also said a Canton Coin yield pool is coming, with details still to be shared. For anyone tracking the latest Doppler Finance Price, that is another item to keep on the list.

What Is Still Unconfirmed in Doppler Finance Latest News?

The post leaves several questions open:

  • How long XDP stays locked, or how long unstaking takes

  • Whether staking pays any reward on top of points

  • How long DP Season 3 will run

  • What Doppler Points can be exchanged for

  • When the safety modules will arrive

Until Doppler answers these, the 20x boost tells you about points only. It does not tell you about risk or return. Check the official Doppler website before you stake. Watch Doppler’s next post for the Season 3 end date and unstaking rules, and keep the November 28 airdrop deadline in mind for the next Doppler Finance News.
