Dogecoin Price Prediction: Will ETF Failure Crash DOGE?

Dogecoin Price Prediction: Will ETF Failure Crash DOGE?

Can Dogecoin keep its footing when sentiment suddenly turns cold? That is the question behind this Dogecoin Price Prediction.

Buyers have been pushed back for days, momentum has cooled, and traders are split between a deeper slide and a quiet rebuild.

The answer will come from how price behaves at a few decisive levels, not from the headlines alone.

Dogecoin Price Today: Market Cap, Volume and Supply

The token trades near $0.08499, slipping about 2.9% on the day, according to Coinglass. Dogecoin price prediction, DOGE price prediction, Dogecoin forecast, Dogecoin

Market cap stands at $13.29B with 156.24B DOGE in circulation, matching total supply, and no max supply is listed.

Futures volume hit $2.05B in 24 hours against just $324.20M in spot, so leveraged traders are driving the tape.

Year to date it is down 27.55%, and over one year the loss stretches to 66.75%.

DOGE Performance, Long-Short Ratio and Liquidations

Momentum is soft. The coin is up 0.85% over four hours but down 2.86% in 24 hours, 9.91% across seven days, and 5.57% over 30 days. Dogecoin price prediction, DOGE price prediction, Dogecoin forecast, Dogecoin

The 90-day gain of 14.77% shows the summer recovery is still alive, while the 180-day return of -8.73% keeps the broader picture honest.

Positioning leans long.

The DOGE long-short ratio reads 2.4106 for Binance accounts and 4.47 on OKX, with Binance top traders at 3.1305 by accounts and 2.9808 by positions.

Liquidations confirm the stress, as Longs lost $14.52M of the $15.96M cleared in 24 hours. In the last four hours the flow flipped, with shorts taking $89.24K of $90.31K during the bounce. Dogecoin Price Prediction

Binance and OKX lead futures volume at $772.67M and $449.49M. The read is mixed, though the long flush looks mostly done.

Dogecoin Open Interest: Is Leverage Still Elevated?

DOGE open interest sits near $1.31B on Coinglass, about 10% of market cap. It climbed above $1.5B in September as price pushed toward the 0.10 area, then eased to $1.29B at the 9 October reading while price slid to $0.084. Dogecoin price prediction, DOGE price prediction, Dogecoin forecast, Dogecoin

Leverage has been trimmed, not cleared, so another drop could still force exits.

Dogecoin ETF Closure: What Did Bitwise's CEO Say?

The Dogecoin ETF closure is the headline weighing on mood. A BSCN post on X says Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley called the ETF's failure tragic, arguing it showed the gap between ETF investors and crypto app users. Dogecoin price prediction, DOGE price prediction, Dogecoin forecast, Dogecoin

The fund launched in November 2025 and stops trading after 14 October. SoSoValue data cited in the post puts assets under management at just $684,000 on 8 October. Horsley said he still owns the coin.

The impact is psychological more than mechanical. $684,000 is a rounding error next to a $13.29B market cap, so little real demand disappears. What fades is an institutional storyline bulls had leaned on.

DOGE Daily Chart Analysis: Are Higher Lows Holding?

The daily chart on TradingView shows price rising inside an ascending channel since the summer base near 0.06994, with each pullback finding buyers higher than the last. Dogecoin price prediction, DOGE price prediction, Dogecoin forecast, Dogecoin

That run of higher lows keeps the DOGE ascending trendline intact. The latest dip was tagged 0.08063, the September swing low that also sits on the rising line, and the price bounced back to 0.0850.

A smaller falling line from the late September high is capping the price now, so a daily close above it would be the first sign buyers are in control again.

Overhead, 0.10074 is the first hurdle, about 18% away, and it overlaps a DOGE supply zone where the last rally stalled.

Beyond it sit 0.10593 and the 0.11879 swing high from May. Below, 0.08063 gives way to 0.06994 and 0.06760.

RSI at 40.59 sits under the neutral line but far from oversold, so momentum is weak rather than exhausted.

Dogecoin Forecast: Base, Bull and Bear Scenarios

Our Dogecoin forecast hinges on 0.08063. In the base case, price holds that level, keeps printing higher lows, and drifts back toward 0.10074 in stages.

A daily close above 0.10074 would be the bull case, opening the path to 0.10593 and then 0.11879, roughly 25% and 40% above current levels. The bear case starts with a daily close below 0.08063, which would damage the structure and expose 0.06994, about 18% lower, and then 0.06760.

These Dogecoin support and resistance levels matter more than any single headline.

Key Risks for Dogecoin Holders

A daily close under 0.08063 while long positioning is still crowded could trigger fresh liquidations.

The ETF narrative may keep new buyers away, and with futures volume running more than six times spot, moves can overshoot in both directions.

An RSI below 50 also means rallies may struggle until the price clears the falling line.

Expert Opinion on DOGE Price Action

As per the analyst desk, the setup is constructive but unproven. The ETF headline is loud while the flow behind it is tiny, and the derivatives reset has already cleared a chunk of overextended longs.

The desk wants a clean defense of the rising trendline before turning more optimistic. Until then, 0.08063 separates a healthy higher-low sequence from a deeper retest.

Conclusion

The ETF exit has shaken sentiment, but the chart still shows buyers defending a rising structure.

Holding 0.08063 keeps the recovery path toward 0.10074 open, while a failure there shifts focus to 0.06994.
