Cedomis News Today: Will CEDO Listing Land In August After Conversion?

The Cedomis team has opened the PCEDO to CEDO conversion portal. The swap went live on July 31, 2026, right after the CEDO token was deployed onchain two days earlier, on July 29. Holders can now convert through the official cedomis website.

The Conversion Rate Is Already Falling

The conversion follows a falling-rate schedule. Week one gives the best deal, at 1 PCEDO to 0.176 CEDO.

Each following week, the rate drops by 90%. The portal shuts for good after week four.

Before the swap opened, it told users to unstake their PCEDO first. Pending rewards also needed a claim, since the team said the window will not reopen once it closed.

The team set aside 120,000,000 CEDO for this conversion. That is 60% of the total 680,000,000 supply.

Once a user converts, the move cannot be reversed. It said the old tokens will either be burned or locked, and a community vote will decide which happens.

Why Conversion Going Live Matters

This move is the clearest sign yet that it is shifting from its quest-and-rewards phase to a full CEDO token economy on Avalanche.

For holders, the falling rate creates real pressure. Waiting past week one already means a smaller payout, and by week four the return is far lower than today's rate.

Will the CEDO Listing Land in August?

This is the part every Cedomis News Today reader wants answered. Now that conversion is finally live, does that mean a listing is close?

There is a pattern worth noting. It has missed its own timeline before. Trading was first pointed to June 11, 2026, but no exchange listing followed, and the team never confirmed a centralized or decentralized exchange partner around that date.

The window itself runs four weeks from July 31, which puts the portal's close near late August. It has also said the portal will pause once trading eventually starts, then reopen seven days later at that week's rate. That detail hints trading is expected to follow soon after this window, though the team has not named a fixed listing day.

Given the June delay, an August listing is possible but not guaranteed. This is still unconfirmed, and readers should treat any listing date claims from unofficial sources as unverified until confirms them directly.

What Happens After the Launch

The conversion portal pauses first, then reopens seven days after trading starts, still at that week's falling rate.

Converted PCEDO gets burned or locked based on a community vote, which shrinks or freezes old supply once trading is live.

Play-to-earn games and $AVAX rewards, both flagged as coming soon in the team's recent posts, are expected to roll out around the same broader phase as CEDO launch.

None of these next steps has a confirmed date. They are the logical follow-through based on the team's own public roadmap, not a promise from Cedomis.

What Holders Should Do Now

Check your wallet today if you still hold PCEDO from quests or staking seasons. Unstake and claim any pending rewards before converting, since the team said this cannot be done after the fact. Use only the official X account to verify contract details and steps. Watch for News updates on exchange partners rather than assuming a date.
